Would it make sense to do likewise for MonoGame? This community could benefit from more frequent releases, more improvements, etc. all of which may be easier if core devs are being compensated for their time.

To be clear, I'm not asking on my behalf. I'm not a core dev on this project.

But as a user of this project, I'd like to see it supported and would also be glad to chip in.

What are your thoughts and feelings?
