I was trying to play a 1.5 minute Cutscene for my game but then somewhere in the middle of the video my system crashed with some scary glitchy sounds. I couldn't close the game, I couldn't close anything, couldn't minimize any window, couldn't open a task manager and I had to turn off my PC by pressing a button.
I decided to play a different video, same result, system crash somewhere in the middle.
Then I noticed that during the video my task manager shows that System process uses 100% disc. Up to 100 mb/s that seems unreal. It might be even harmful to the hardware.
Then I sent the same program to my friend with a better computer. Same result.
Then I tried to render the video at half fps. Same result.
The videos were 720p 30fps 1-2 minutes long.
What are my options? Dose everyone else have the same issue? Can I somehow play a video using directX in a monogame desktop project?
//UPDATE
It turns out MonoGame 3.7 was released 5 days ago and this bug is now fixed... That timing
